About The Position

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our Toddler (1 and 2-year-old) program at our Stuytown location. This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has 15 classrooms, all equipped with phones, Apple iPads & Bluetooth speakers. It also features a fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts, an on-site indoor gym, and private outdoor play spaces in Stuytown. Face recognition is used for school entry. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
