About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Toddler Assistant Teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education. This full-time position involves assisting in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy. The role requires maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class and communicating regularly with parents. The Malvern School is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, focusing on a quality, child-centered philosophy, and fostering a strong sense of teamwork and a professional atmosphere.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
• Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field

• Assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
