About The Position

The Cypress of Hilton Head is recruiting for a hospitality focused To-Go Server to join our team! This position is responsible for full-scope, hands-on production cooking in our exciting, fast-paced Food & Beverage Department. The To-Go Expeditor is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to follow written instructions and interpret recipes.
Must have knife-cutting skills.
Must be multi-tasked oriented.

Nice To Haves

Sanitation course completion or food service course completion preferred.
Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Ability to assist with all aspects of the To Go orders from preparation to execution.
Actively participates in safety programs and complies with The Cypress policies and procedures.
Assure that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production and delivery.
Boxes amount and types of food and supplies required for daily menu by bringing needs to the attention of management, with time to order items.
Coordinate and supervise the To-Go staff according to food safety standards.
Embraces The Cypress Hospitality Promises daily.
Ensure the team/department is fully staffed.
Look for ways to continuously improve safety for members, staff, and visitors.
Make certain that all cookies are ready on time for special party functions and meal delivery.
Plan food preparation with meal delivery time.
Prepare and direct the preparations of all cold foods to be delivered.
Review all party function sheets and ensure all preparation is completed in a timely fashion.
Routinely check the To Go phone for changes or additions to stay on top of members' orders.
Takes appropriate precautions to avoid job-related injuries and complies with injury reporting guidelines.
Understands the responsibility to report suspected violations of The Cypress Code of Conduct to appropriate persons, to The Cypress Compliance Hotline, by completing a Written Report of Suspected Compliance Violation, or by contacting the Corporate Compliance Officer directly.
Ensure that all prepared foods are at proper temperatures while To-Go meals are processed.
Prepare enough backup of salad-prepared foods for replenishing.
Maintain sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas and food equipment.
Ensure the prep storage area is properly rotated, wrapped, and dated.
Maintain standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.
Assist in whatever capacity is needed in emergency conditions.
Additional duties as assigned.
Completes all posted-sided duties.
