TM - Maintenance Seasonal
About The Position
Timberline Mountain is seeking seasonal team members for its Mountain Operations/Snowmaking department for the 2026-2027 season. Responsibilities include maintaining and operating a manual snowmaking system, performing light maintenance and repairs on equipment, and removing snow from various areas around the resort. The role requires a love for the outdoors, a willingness to learn, a commitment to excellent service, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Basic knowledge of machinery like pumps and compressed air is a plus. Team members may also assist other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2026.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to shovel snow and be on their feet for most of their shifts.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of basic machinery, including pumps and compressed air.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all safety barriers, padding, and guards around snowmaking equipment.
- Operate and maintain snowmaking equipment, adjusting snow guns, water flow, and air flow to create quality snow.
- Perform regular maintenance on snowmaking equipment.
- Relocate snow guns and hoses as needed.
- Remove snow around snowmaking equipment and other areas around the resort as needed.
- Work safely in close proximity to heavy equipment, high voltage, and high-water pressure.
- Assist other departments as needed.
