The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works to build on strengths of families and communities to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, so they thrive. We do this through investigations, services, and referrals. This role performs highly complex (senior-level) compliance analysis, quality assurance, and program oversight work involving the examination, evaluation, and monitoring of records, programs, policies, contracts, and operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policies, and contractual requirements. Conducts reviews, investigations, inspections, and analyses to identify compliance risks, improve program performance, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Provides subject matter expertise in Extended Foster Care (EFC), Return to Extended Foster Care (REFC), and Supervised Independent Living (SIL) programs. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making.
