About The Position

Join SLB as a TLM Quality Technician on our 2nd shift team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge tools and equipment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in quality inspection, testing, manufacturing, or industrial operations
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, torque devices)
  • Working knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with quality management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • Experience with downhole tools, oilfield services, or manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems, SAP, or manufacturing software
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed quality inspections and functional tests on assembled equipment
  • Verify product compliance using engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Conduct pressure, mechanical, dimensional, electrical, and functional testing as required
  • Operate and maintain test equipment, gauges, and measurement devices
  • Accurately record and review test data in manufacturing and quality systems
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming products and deviations
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Ensure compliance with SLB quality management and safety requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues and improve processes
  • Conduct final inspections and release products for shipment
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records and inspection reports
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
