About The Position
Join SLB as a TLM Quality Technician on our 2nd shift team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge tools and equipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in quality inspection, testing, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, torque devices)
- Working knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with quality management systems
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience with downhole tools, oilfield services, or manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems, SAP, or manufacturing software
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality inspections and functional tests on assembled equipment
- Verify product compliance using engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct pressure, mechanical, dimensional, electrical, and functional testing as required
- Operate and maintain test equipment, gauges, and measurement devices
- Accurately record and review test data in manufacturing and quality systems
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming products and deviations
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Ensure compliance with SLB quality management and safety requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues and improve processes
- Conduct final inspections and release products for shipment
- Maintain comprehensive quality records and inspection reports
- Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
