The University seeks a thoughtful, experienced, and collaborative professional to lead its institution-wide Title IX and civil rights compliance work and to help sustain fair, accessible, and responsive processes for students, faculty, staff, applicants, and other members of the University community. The Title IX Coordinator and Civil Rights Officer provides institution-wide leadership for Niagara University's compliance with Title IX and related federal and state sex-discrimination requirements and is intended to serve as the University's designated Title VI Coordinator pursuant to New York Education Law. The position leads the Office for Title IX and Civil Rights and coordinates the University's response to reports of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and retaliation. The Coordinator works closely with Human Resources and General Counsel on employment matters and partners broadly across Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Campus Safety, Athletics, the Office of Violence Prevention & Education, and other University and community resources.
