The campus Title I Intervention Specialist serves as part of the school’s leadership team, providing specialized instruction to identified struggling students receiving services through the response to intervention process. This role involves monitoring student progress through quantitative and qualitative measures and participating in Student Success Plan (SSP) meetings to provide recommendations regarding adjustments to student instructional plans. In addition to providing support for PreK-8 struggling students in a small group or individual setting, the specialist will provide professional development and guidance for teachers to improve their knowledge of differentiating instructional strategies and monitoring/adjusting said practices to appropriately measure student progress in the classroom. This is a grant-funded position with no guarantee of continued employment beyond the availability of grant funds.
