About The Position

McCurley Dealerships are seeking an experienced Title/Accounting Clerk to join their Accounting team. This is a fast-paced role within a dealership with an established clientele. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of office or accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry. The position requires a high attention to detail to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and adherence to McCurley company policies.

Requirements

• At least one year of office or accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Accounting is required, must be willing to take and pass our accounting basics evaluation.
• Good interpersonal, email and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
• Ability to function under pressure, involving activities that are time-sensitive in nature.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dealership Billing/Title experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all paperwork related to new, used, and wholesale vehicle sales transactions, including Title and Licensing paperwork, Loan documents, Lien Payoffs, F&I product contracts and cancellations, and Dealer trade documents.
• Record the acquisition of new and used vehicle inventory into the accounting software.
• Reconcile assigned accounts and balance sheet schedules regularly.
• Post manual journal entries, prepare checks, and provide administrative support to management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
• Assist with the monthly close of the dealership’s financial statements.
