About The Position

Gurley Leep Automotive is hiring a Title Clerk. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive titling and processing title work in a dealership environment. This is an opportunity to grow your career with an established company that has 24 locations across 5 states and continues to expand.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Illinois titling.
• Understand basic accounting
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally in one-on-one situations to customers and other associates
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CVR systems is recommended.
• Experience processing title work in a dealership environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicles for registration both in and out of state
• Maintain Motor Vehicle schedule
• Post daily Motor Vehicle transactions
• Understand Missouri tax laws with respect to vehicle registration
• Title flips in and out of state
• Accounting Schedule Reconciliations
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
