About The Position

Tissue Recovery Technicians contribute to ConnectLife's mission of inspiring donation and connecting lives through the recovery of anatomical gifts. One tissue donor can enhance the lives of more than 75 people. This hands-on, mission-driven role offers paid, on-the-job training. Ideal for candidates seeking flexible, meaningful work, supplemental or primary income potential, higher earnings with greater availability, and hands-on healthcare experience in a mission-driven setting. The role is based in Halfmoon, NY and requires a valid NYS driver’s license, arrival within 1 hour of a case call, and travel in a company vehicle to area hospitals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid NYS driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Travel availability
• On-call availability required
• Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to think critically and multitask accurately.
• Must be reliable, professional, and self-motivated

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
• Healthcare or medical-related experience preferred
• Tissue banking experience preferred
• Anatomy and physiology knowledge strongly preferred
• Team-based work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile surgical recovery of donated human tissue
• Assist with donor prep, blood draws, setup, and cleanup
• Preserve, package, and transport tissue to regulatory standards
• Support respectful donor reconstruction
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Attend required training and team meetings
• Work effectively in fast-paced clinical and surgical settings
