Tissue Recovery Specialist
About The Position
The Tissue Recovery Specialist recovers basic and advanced tissues for transplant and research in accordance with LifeNet Health and client standard operating procedures. The role includes conducting thorough physical examinations, reviewing medical records, and completing accurate donor chart documentation and quality checks. It also supports training by onboarding and precepting new recovery staff to promote compliance with procedures and industry standards. Administrative responsibilities include ordering and stocking supplies, identifying process improvement and cost-saving opportunities, verifying donor authorization documents, organizing recovery teams and supplies, and coordinating or performing transport of recovered tissues, blood samples, and cultures to LifeNet Health or client facilities.
Requirements
- Two years of work experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities

- Perform thorough physical examinations and review medical records.
- Complete accurate donor chart documentation and quality checks.
