About The Position
The Laborer plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the greenhouse. This position involves hands-on tasks such as transplanting, trimming, fertilizing, and maintaining plant health, all within a physically active greenhouse and laboratory environment. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work under varying weather conditions and environments.
- Capability to work irregular hours when required (during critical periods of the season)
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Fill trays with soil and prepare planting materials
- Grade plants by size and quality
- Transplant plants into trays with soil
- Trim, water, and apply fertilizers to plants
- Prepare and load plant racks for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform routine maintenance on greenhouse and nursery equipment
- Glassware washing and cleaning laboratory area
- Assist with culture media preparation and sterilization
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support additional tasks as needed to meet business goals
