About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and providing friendly service to customers and drivers. The role supports tire sales, removal, and replacement for vehicles ranging up to commercial vehicles, both in the shop and roadside. The position also involves equipment repair and maintenance, facility upkeep, and housekeeping. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The job requires a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds and work in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; the cost is paid by Love’s.
Responsibilities
- Sell, remove, and replace tires on vehicles up to and including commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
