About The Position

Gills Point S is hiring a Tire Technician to provide tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance that help keep customers safe on the road. The company provides training and support for candidates who are new to the work, as well as opportunities to grow. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop, with duties performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to safely operate shop equipment and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following company safety policies.

• Automotive or tire experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
