About The Position

This position is responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining tires on company equipment. The Tire Technician actively participates in and displays behaviors aligned with company values. The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legible handwriting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Self-motivated.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Proven customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for flat tires.
• Transfer tires from storage.
• Remove scrap tires from axles and transfer them to the shredder.
• Record and compile flats and junks for the VP of Operations, along with tire histories, tread depths, mileages, tire evaluations, and tires transferred out for reconditioning.
• Requisition tires, rims, and parts for repair of tire equipment.
• Supervise temporary workers and assist other mechanics as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.
