Tire Technician, Wetaskawin
About The Position
Fountain Tire Wetaskiwin is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician! This role involves a variety of tasks related to tire inspection, installation, balancing, rotation, and repair for various vehicle types including truck, farm, industrial, passenger vehicles, and OTR (Off-The-Road) tires. The position also requires customer interaction for repair, service, and tire sales, emphasizing professional and friendly customer service. Safety is a key component, requiring the technician to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
Requirements
- Commercial, passenger vehicle or OTR tire experience (willing to train the right candidate)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to be on call after hours
- Ability to lift 100 pounds if required
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial, passenger vehicle and/or OTR tires
- Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Keeping yourself and your coworkers safe on the job
