About The Position
The mission of this role is to address the tire needs of customers in a safe, approved manner using the proper tools and proper techniques. This position involves performing various tire services on passenger and light truck vehicles, maintaining customer relationships, and upholding company standards for safety and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Ability to identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply.
- Proficiency in using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools for dismounting and mounting wheels.
- Skill in reassembling tires onto wheels.
- Ability to replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
- Capability to locate and seal punctures.
- Willingness to perform lube, oil, filter, and tire services.
- Ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Responsibility for maintaining tools and related tire accessories.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean shop.
- Adherence to company safety culture and performance of all jobs in a safe manner.
- Regular attendance as per assigned schedule.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.

- Experience with balancing machines to determine counterweights.
- Experience in protecting company assets.
Responsibilities

- Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels.
- Dismount wheels from vehicles using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.
- Mount wheels onto vehicles.
- Reassemble tires onto wheels.
- Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
- Locate and seal punctures.
- Perform lube, oil, filter, tire services on passenger and light truck vehicles, as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Maintain tools and related tire accessories.
- Maintain a clean shop to reflect the proper corporate image to the public.
- Protect company assets.
