About The Position

Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean facilities, and interact with customers and drivers. The role involves selling, removing, and replacing tires, including on commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service. Technicians also help repair equipment and maintain the store facility. No experience is required; training is provided. The position requires working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for vehicles up to and including commercial vehicles, in the shop and during roadside service.
• Repair equipment and maintain the store facility, including general housekeeping.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; Love’s pays for it.
