About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers and help make their travels better. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role involves tire work on vehicles including commercial vehicles, in the shop and on roadside service, along with equipment and facility maintenance. The schedule rotates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 or more pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of selling, removing, and replacing tires, including on commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
