About The Position

Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean facilities, and interact with customers and drivers. The role includes selling, removing, and replacing tires on vehicles up to and including commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service. Technicians also help repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including housekeeping. Love’s provides training for candidates without prior experience. The position requires a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
• No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Sell, remove, and replace tires on vehicles, including commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
• Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; the cost is paid by Love’s.
