About The Position
As a Tire Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring vehicle safety and performance by expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a wide range of vehicles. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and safety by providing reliable tire services that meet industry standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing tire-related issues, recommending appropriate solutions, and performing routine inspections to prevent future problems. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Must provide own tools.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a tire technician or in automotive service.
- Certification from a recognized tire industry organization (e.g., National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence - ASE).
- Knowledge of tire balancing and alignment technology.
- Experience working with a variety of tire brands and vehicle types.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation to ensure safety and performance.
- Mount, dismount, balance, and align tires using specialized equipment and tools.
- Perform tire repairs such as patching punctures and replacing damaged tires.
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance, and care.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workflow and meet service deadlines.
