About The Position

Take Ten Tire and Lube is seeking energetic and team-oriented Tire Service Technicians. This role requires knowledge and experience with tires and wheels, focusing on their service and maintenance to ensure customers can safely get back on the road. The position is demanding and competitive, seeking individuals with an upbeat attitude and positive outlook. Only serious and experienced applicants should apply. The primary responsibility of this entry-level position is to support all levels of tire service for customers. This role allows for training in additional skills to eventually qualify for a Tire Tech II position. The Tire Tech I serves as a support role, providing general service and support as assigned. All work must adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Employees should only perform tasks for which they have received training.

Requirements

  • Tire knowledge with experience.
  • Responsible for the service and maintenance of tires and wheels.
  • Upbeat attitude and positive outlook.
  • Regular lifting of 80+ pounds.
  • Standing, bending, stooping, and driving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail/service shop environment.
  • Completion of TIA CTS certification for large truck tires.

Responsibilities

  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires from passenger to large trucks (large truck tires require TIA CTS certification).
  • Check for needed additional service.
  • Drive to deliver and pick up merchandise and move customer’s vehicles.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in efficient operating condition, keeping it clean inside and out.
  • Unload, load, and stock inventory and related items as required and assist with physical inventory.
  • Operate a forklift after certification is received.
  • Sweep floors, clean restrooms, and perform other assigned duties and tasks.
  • Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company.
  • Attend meetings held by Store Service Manager.
  • Process all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Observe all safety rules and procedures associated with performance of duties.
  • Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
