About The Position

Fountain Tire Ponoka is looking for a responsible, safe, and knowledgeable associate to join their team as an experienced Tire Technician. This role involves unpredictable, physical work in various weather conditions and requires someone who can be on call after hours. The day-to-day tasks include inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing various types of tires, as well as interacting with customers regarding repairs, services, and tire sales.

Requirements

• Some tire experience in a professional setting
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to be on call after hours
• Ability to lift 100 pounds if required

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing passenger, light truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires
• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service, and tire sales
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Keeping yourself and your coworkers safe on the job
