The Tire Technician II is responsible for changing primarily commercial tires, loader and farm, but may also change passenger, light truck, loader, farm, ATV and/or lawn and garden tires. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels. The technician will remove or replace mounted tire assemblies from vehicles, recognize repairable tires, and properly perform repairs while discarding those that are not repairable. Communication of all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoices is essential. All tasks must be performed in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing provided safety equipment and reporting any equipment needs or unsafe conditions to management. Daily maintenance of tools and equipment is also required. The technician will review service work orders for complete information and ensure all products leave with proper paperwork. Flexibility and a commitment to customer satisfaction are key, as job priorities may change due to customer needs.
