The Tire Technician I is responsible for changing primarily passenger, light truck, loader, farm, ATV and/or lawn and garden tires. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels. The technician will remove or replace mounted tire assemblies from vehicles, recognize repairable tires, and properly perform repairs while discarding those that are not repairable. Communication of all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders, and/or invoices is essential. All tasks must be performed in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing provided safety equipment and reporting any equipment needs or unsafe conditions to management. Daily maintenance of tools and equipment is also required. The technician will review service work orders for complete information before submitting them and ensure all products leave with proper paperwork. Miscellaneous job duties may be performed as needed to ensure prompt customer service. A willingness to prioritize customer satisfaction and flexibility to adapt to changing job priorities due to customer needs is expected.
