About The Position

TCI Maintenance is looking for a skilled Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform tire repairs, replacements, fleet checks, road service calls, after-hours responses, and light service repairs for our commercial customers. Your success is measured by efficiency, safety, and the quality of your work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and write English clearly
Basic math skills
Valid driver’s license
Basic computer/data-entry skills
Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, bending, kneeling, etc.)
Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations

Nice To Haves

Tech/vocational certification preferred (or willingness to enroll)
CDL with air brake endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Follow all PPE and safety procedures
Operate service trucks to perform mobile fleet services and emergency roadside calls
Raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks
Remove, repair, and replace commercial tires using appropriate tools
Inspect casings for damage, leaks, and defects
Locate and repair punctures in tubeless tires
Replace valve stems and remount tires
Balance tires using weights or balancing beads
Reinstall wheels and rotate tires as needed
Assist mechanics with tire-related work
Safely operate TCI vehicles for testing and troubleshooting
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
Communicate any unsafe conditions or equipment issues promptly
Maintain reliable attendance and professionalism at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations
