About The Position

Moore Tires is a growing, family-owned business with endless opportunities, seeking a hard-working, self-motivated, and team-oriented Experienced Tire Tech. The company started in 1991 and has expanded to multiple locations, all committed to providing exceptional customer care, pricing, and service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive vehicles and various equipment, with a focus on tire services and general automotive maintenance.

Requirements

Must meet or exceed standards set by the industry recognized trade organizations.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must have some or limited training in automotive repair, with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further in this area.
Valid driver’s license required.
Entry level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles and various types of equipment.
Test drive all vehicles repaired.
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Perform oil changes, brake, suspension, and other mechanical work.
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming for vehicle functionality and longevity.
Assess tread levels and valve quality on tires & check wear patterns.
Mounts/demounts tires.
Ensures conformance to industry standards.
Examines and repairs tires.
Performs preventative maintenance.
Responds to emergency road calls as needed.
Perform vehicle alignments.
