About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tire Tech to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to tire and wheel services, including installation, balancing, and maintenance. You will also be involved in maintaining the appearance and organization of the shop, equipment, and company vehicle. This position requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior wheel and tire installation experience
• Experience working with a computer balancer and tire machine
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
• Positive attitude towards customers and co-workers

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install customer wheels and tires
• Install lift and level kits
• Operate both computer balancer and tire machine
• Complete work orders and related paperwork
• Follow all safety guidelines including vehicle torque policy
• Update store manager on any needed accessories or tools
• Maintain, organize, and clean shop and equipment
• Conduct planned maintenance on tools and shop equipment
• Clean, inspect, and maintain the company vehicle
• Keep all wheels and tires in showroom rent ready
• Maintain parking lot and surrounding area
• Clean and refurbish used wheels/tires to best possible condition
• Assist accounts manager in field with pick-ups
• Prepare and stock truck for field visits
