About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Specialist to join our maintenance team. The Tire Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and replacing tires for commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and industry standards.

Requirements

• Experience working with commercial truck/trailer tires preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Ability to use tire equipment safely and correctly
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Physical ability to lift and handle heavy tires and equipment
• Basic understanding of shop tools and maintenance procedures

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a trucking shop or fleet maintenance environment
• Road service tire repair experience (big advantage)
• Familiarity with DOT safety standards
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented attitude
• Problem-solving ability in field/shop conditions
• Good time management and organization

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety issues
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires on commercial trucks and trailers
• Perform tire rotations and pressure checks
• Replace worn or damaged tires in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of tire inventory, replacements, and services
• Ensure proper torque and installation procedures are followed
• Respond to road service or emergency tire repair situations when required
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
