About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Tire Sales & Installation professional to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting members with tire selection and purchases, performing proper tire installation and repair, completing necessary documentation, and adhering to tire bay policies and procedures. The position emphasizes delivering service excellence, maintaining a safe and positive environment, and working collaboratively to achieve goals. Team members are expected to act with honesty and integrity, embrace inclusion and diversity, and move with speed and agility. A commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and Club Standards (Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean) is essential. Understanding department performance reporting and the impact of consistent execution on business success is also key.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, including verifying vehicle sizes.
• Properly installing and repairing tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Completing all necessary tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintaining a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandising tire displays and automotive products.
• Providing knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Understanding and utilizing available special-order tire programs.
• Properly disposing of tires and ensuring propane tanks are filled per club policy (if certified).
• Complying with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilizing tire bay equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Carrying out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
