About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Tire Sales & Installation professional to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting members with tire selection and purchases, performing proper installation and repair, completing necessary documentation, and adhering to tire bay policies and procedures. Team members are expected to carry out job functions, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity, always prioritizing the member experience. A commitment to delivering service excellence, resolving concerns, and maintaining a safe and positive environment is essential. The role also involves upholding club standards for cleanliness, organization, and merchandising, as well as understanding departmental performance reporting. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills required.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in the selection and purchase of tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Properly install, mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Properly dispose of tires and ensure propane tanks are filled per club policy (if certified).
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Utilize available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilize tire bay equipment.
• Ensure all tire bay scheduling data and documentation is completed for sales and service orders.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
