About The Position

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Tire Sales & Installation Team Member to join their World-Class Team. This role is responsible for assisting members with tire selection and purchases, performing proper installation and repair, completing necessary documentation, and adhering to tire bay policies and procedures. Team members are expected to carry out job functions, support club policies, act with honesty and integrity, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, and move with speed and agility. The role also involves delivering service excellence, resolving member concerns, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. A daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look, stocked items, accurate signage, clean and organized) is expected. Team members should understand their department's performance reporting and the connection between consistent execution and business impact.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in the selection and purchase of tires, including verifying sizes for vehicles.
• Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Properly dispose of tires.
• Fill propane tanks as needed if certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Understand and utilize available special-order tire programs.
• Ensure all tire bay scheduling data and documentation is completed for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilize tire bay equipment.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
