This position involves performing routine maintenance functions and adjustments on trailing equipment in compliance with manufacturers and company schedules. The technician will need to access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and working on parts of trailers. This role requires the ability to safely walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces, including outdoors in inclement weather. The technician will also be responsible for lifting objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights, and performing various physical movements such as walking, reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling. Additionally, the role includes maintaining shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations such as DOT, EPA, OSHA, and others. The technician will perform safety inspections, follow company policies, participate in training, and perform other assigned duties, ensuring prompt daily attendance.
