About The Position

Fountain Tire (Ladner) is seeking a responsible, safe, and motivated associate to join their team as a Tire/Lube Technician. This role involves a variety of tire and wheel services, with opportunities for training, advancement, and overtime during busy seasons. Requirements

Previous experience is a plus, but motivated individuals with a positive attitude will be trained
A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
A keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Basic computer skills
Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms

Responsibilities

Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
