About The Position

The Tire Installer is responsible for the installation and balancing of tires. This role involves performing other related duties as requested by the immediate superior, in accordance with internal procedures and rules. The position requires adherence to health and safety standards and business procedures, as well as maintaining clean and organized work areas and equipment. The role also includes participating in annual inventory and completing various reports.

Requirements

High school diploma or vocational training.
Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
Having work boots would be essential.
Being able to do repetitive tasks.
To have a good physical endurance, being able to move regularly the goods that are 60 lbs. and over.
Proficiency in spoken and written French is essential.

Nice To Haves

Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.
Knowledge of English may be required depending on the needs of the position.

Responsibilities

Installation of tires
Assemble and balance the tires and wheels according to company standards.
If necessary, remove tires from wheels.
Make sure you have all the parts necessary to complete the installation.
Work closely in collaboration with the installation Manager to identify the imperfections.
Support the shipping and/or receiving department when required.
Where necessary, work with quality assurance personnel on the preparation of a car to be measured, meaning, to properly secure the car on the lift, remove the wheels and reset as needed.
Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.
Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
Participate in the annual inventory.
Complete various reports.
