As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves leveraging digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. You will also be responsible for communicating equipment, tools, and supplies needs, tracking and monitoring returns and special orders, operating cash registers, processing transactions, and working hands-on in the physical area. Maintaining accurate inventory, auditing safety and compliance standards, reporting complaints, safety hazards, and problems, and completing required documentation are also key aspects of this position. You will identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns. Additionally, you will act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, and develop, influence, and inspire others. You will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. You will also embrace differences, create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and strengthen the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others.
