The Tire and Battery Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining safety and operational standards within the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor, including organizing, stocking, and merchandising products. Key duties involve monitoring tire and battery orders, scheduling and assisting members with installation appointments, and communicating any changes or alternative solutions. The advisor provides expert member service, offering recommendations and resolving concerns by leveraging Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to ensure the selection of safe and suitable tire and battery products, explaining warranties, and delivering value. This role drives sales and service excellence by promoting TBC offerings and efficiently managing service workflow in the bays. The advisor must possess knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and Point-of-Sale systems. They are expected to utilize digital tools and handheld devices to enhance operations, engagement, and decision-making, while also serving as a brand advocate and assisting in the development and training of team members. Additional responsibilities include completing vehicle service requests, operating TBC equipment safely, handling merchandise, maintaining documentation, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to manage member interactions professionally. The advisor also operates cash registers, processes transactions, and adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, contributing to a culture of integrity and customer-first service.
