The Tire and Battery Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining facility and sales floor safety and standards, ensuring the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, and merchandised, and presenting merchandise by stocking, setting up displays, and signing/pricing merchandise. They monitor tire and battery orders, assist members with appointments, communicate lead time changes, and suggest alternatives. The role involves assisting members with tire maintenance and repair services, providing expert member service and recommendations using product knowledge and reference materials, and driving sales and service excellence in the TBC. The advisor also triages and prioritizes service workflow, demonstrates knowledge of safety, industry guidelines, equipment operations, and product specifications, and leverages technology to enhance operations. They serve as a brand advocate, develop and influence team members, and complete vehicle service requests. The position requires operating TBC equipment properly and safely, receiving, storing, and disposing of merchandise, and completing documentation. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with people and handling challenging situations professionally. The role involves operating hardware, processing member purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity is required, as is completing work assignments and priorities effectively.
