Tipper Truck Receiver (CDL Required) - Days
About The Position
The truck operator will be responsible for moving tankers in and out of the Fresh Chicken Dock, receiving incoming documents, and maintaining the cleanliness of the receiving area. This role involves partnering with the Fresh Chicken Receiver to unload the tanker and returning the tanker to the staging area after unloading. The position also requires taking temperatures of the incoming tanker according to the plant's standard operating procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork, participation in ongoing development, and fostering cohesiveness within the team. The employee will be familiar with Simmons' operating systems and understand their responsibility in supporting these systems, including communicating concerns and improvement ideas. The position also includes performing other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Must have a current CDL Class A license with 1 year of driving experience (DOT-specific).
- Must maintain a valid driver's license.
- Basic math skills.
- Reading skills.
- Writing skills.
- Computer knowledge.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in temperature extremes.

Responsibilities
