About The Position

We are currently seeking experienced tiling and ceramics subcontractors for ongoing residential renovation projects in Port Elgin, Ontario, and surrounding areas. This role involves the installation of various tile types, surface preparation, grouting, sealing, and finishing work. Most materials will be supplied by us, and set pricing will be provided per scope of work. We are looking for subcontractors with a registered business in Ontario, valid WSIB clearance, and general liability insurance.

Requirements

• Registered business in Ontario
• Valid WSIB clearance certificate
• General liability insurance (minimum $2M recommended)
• Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation
• Minimum 2 years of residential tile installation experience
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and tile standards
• Ability to meet quality standards and project timelines

Responsibilities

• Installation of ceramic, porcelain, and tile flooring
• Tile installation for tub surrounds, showers, and backsplashes
• Surface preparation (substrate prep, waterproofing, leveling as required)
• Grouting, sealing, and finishing work
• Repairs or replacement of existing tile as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site
• Professional communication with clients and project managers
