About The Position

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club is seeking a driven individual to join their team as a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender. This role involves making and serving beverages to guests with a focus on hospitality and professionalism, creating memorable dining experiences through personalized interactions. The position is within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization and is part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS).
  • SERV Safe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu.
  • Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
  • Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system.
  • Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates.
  • Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
  • On occasion, serve meals to guests.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
