About The Position

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club, located in Lehigh Acres, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. General Purpose: Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current trends in the industry and marketplace
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to company values
  • Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors
  • Fluent in spoken, written, and comprehended English
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS).

Responsibilities

  • Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records
  • Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu
  • Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
  • Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
  • Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system
  • Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates
  • Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
  • On occasion, serve meals to guests
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as required
