About The Position

Lionshead Precision Metals (previously IMC Corp) is seeking a qualified candidate that can come in and hit the door running. This position is for our day shift, which offers a great balance of work and family time. Employees on days work Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and depending on the workload, we work our overtime on Fridays. Requirements

  • Must be able to demonstrate TIG welding with various types of materials and thicknesses.
  • Must have knowledge blueprints and AWS weld symbols.
  • Must be able to problem solve as needed.
  • Must be able to follow work instructions.
  • Must be able to perform quality checks on parts.
  • Must be familiar with basic safety operations on the TIG welder.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Measure and mark work pieces using calipers, micrometer or other gauges.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to ensure smooth work operations.
  • Maintain safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment.
  • Organize and clean equipment on a regular basis.
  • Must demonstrate their skills using GTAW and GMAW on standard joints.
  • The three joints tested are butt, lap, and t-joints.
  • This will be done on .030 Stainless, .030 Steel, and .060 Aluminum.

  • Demonstrate skills using GTAW and GMAW on standard joints (butt, lap, and t-joints) on .030 Stainless, .030 Steel, and .060 Aluminum.
