TIG Welder
About The Position
Doncasters is seeking a dedicated TIG Welder to join its team in Groton, Connecticut. The role focuses on ensuring company products and processes meet strict customer, national, and international standards, specifications, and accreditations. The position involves precision weld repair of castings in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Requirements
- High school diploma and/or completion of technical school.
- Proven welding experience, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding.
- Meticulous attention to detail in high-precision manufacturing.
- Ability to evaluate casting defects and determine appropriate repair techniques.
- Ability to manage workflow effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform weld repairs on various metals, including stainless steel, cobalt, and nickel alloy castings.
- Adhere to quality control standards and ensure compliance with technical specifications and accreditations.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical welding challenges.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workspace.
