About The Position
Moiron, a division of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated, located in northwest Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Entry Level Production TIG/MIG Welders. This role involves welding metal parts with TIG/MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Production welding requires repetitive welding of the same part. The company utilizes innovative metal tube and wire processes with machines such as lasers, benders, robotic welders, drill presses, punch presses, sanding, and welding. There may be opportunities to operate other processes.
Requirements
- Past experience or education with TIG/MIG welding.
- Must pass a TIG/MIG welding test.
- Passion for the art of welding.
Nice To Haves
- Actual experience in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility.
- Experience with production TIG welding.
Responsibilities
- Welds metal parts with TIG/MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order.
- Performs repetitive welding of the same part in a production setting.
- May operate other manufacturing processes such as lasers, benders, robotic welders, drill presses, punch presses, and sanding equipment.
