About The Position
We are seeking an experienced TIG & MIG Welder Shop Welder Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on TIG & MIG welding experience, along with experience as a Shop Welder & Assembler. You will be responsible for performing TIG and MIG welding on steel and metal components, assembling fabricated parts according to engineering drawings, and ensuring weld quality meets company standards. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, strong fabrication, fitting, and assembly experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Located in or willing to commute to Mississauga, ON.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on TIG & MIG welding experience
- Experience working as a Shop Welder & Assembler
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Fluent English communication skills
- Strong fabrication, fitting, and assembly experience
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable with a stable work history
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop
- Good communication skills in English
- Available to work the day shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Located in or willing to commute to Mississauga, ON
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and metal components
