About The Position

This role involves welding and fabricating various metal parts according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG and TIG welding, able to read and interpret blueprints, and ensure the quality and precision of finished products. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Must have welding/fabricating experience
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Food grade polishing experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of blueprint reading (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction.
• Read and interpret customer drawings.
• Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
• Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
• Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
• Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.
