The TIE Engineer 1 will be responsible for process capability and capacity planning, determining future equipment requirements, and assisting with evaluating potential vendors, equipment makers, and services. This role involves investigating in-house manufacturing problems, recommending countermeasures, and researching, developing, and testing long-term improvement ideas. The engineer will generate reports, troubleshoot and modify PLC Ladder Logic, and work with Robotics, Vision Systems, and Laser Programming. Mechanical aptitude is required, and the role ensures documentation meets IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards, including maintaining and generating process control plan specifications and PFMEA documentation. Project management responsibilities include coordinating, scheduling, and executing individual and multi-departmental project plans, including full line implementation and start-up. Minor responsibilities include effective communication with internal associates/departments and outside resources, teamwork, participation in company activities like IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, and Employee Involvement, and some travel.
