About The Position

The Gateway to Your Future Gateway is seeking a Ticket Usher who delivers an exceptional customer service excellence in seating and assisting patrons in our entertainment complex. Requirements

  • Previous ticket usher or similar experience considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in an entertainment capacity preferred (i.e. theatre, concert venues, etc.).
  • Able to deal with customer concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible to work all shifts as required.
  • Ability to handle high volume and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patrons and employ exceptional customer service skills.
  • Provides direction and check ticket validity using handheld palm pilot.
  • Seats patrons in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensures adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures, including the ability to work closely with Security.
  • In the event of an emergency, assists patrons in a safe and organized manner.
  • Participates in crowd control duties as needed.
